Learn about animals and nature with playful, fun and free programming from Port Discovery at the Robinson Nature Center on April 23, May 7 and May 21! Using movement, games, science and interactive theater play, children three and up will explore our wild planet, creatures of the night and more! Programs are held at 1 & 2PM and are free with Robinson pass or daily admission to the nature center.
Brown Bear, Polar Bear | May 21 | 1 & 2 PM?
On May 21, become part of the “Brown Bear..Polar Bear” program. Through guided mime and theater play and dramatic storytelling, you’ll help bring the voices and movement of the animal kingdom to life as we celebrate the literary genius of Bill Martin, Jr.’s two great classics: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?.

Funding for these programs is provided by the Howard County Arts Council through a grant from Howard County Government.

KLUTZ ® Amazingly Immature

At Port Discovery Children’s Museum May 20 through September 4, 2017

Stop acting silly? Not in this exhibit! Learn about science through laughter, play, physical comedy, and fun in the new KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature exhibit, based on the KLUTZ® Encyclopedia of Immaturity Vol. 1 and 2!

Family fun and laughter combine with science and math in this can’t miss exhibit! Pull a tablecloth off a table without dropping dishes, turn spoons into catapults, create photo illusions, engineer fast-moving paper airplanes, learn how to juggle, transform money into wearable rings, create amazing inventions and take part in over 18 fun activities that will teach you about aerodynamics, inertia, Newton’s Third Law of Motion, and more exciting scientific concepts through fun and silliness!

KLUTZ ® Amazingly Immature is produced by the Children’s Museum of Houston in partnership with KLUTZ®. Admission to KLUTZ® Amazingly Immature is included with general admission tickets to Port Discovery, which are $14.95 for adults and children 2 and up, and free for Museum members.
