Port Discovery Photo & Video Policy
For General Admission Visitors, Members and participants in birthday parties, overnight adventures and other Museum activities
NOTICE: Museum staff occasionally take photos and videos at Port Discovery Children’s Museum. Entrance to the premises of Port Discovery Children’s Museum constitutes your acknowledgement and agreement that you may be photographed, filmed, videotaped or otherwise recorded by Museum staff or contractors in connection with the activities taking place on the premises. All recordings are the sole property of Port Discovery Children’s Museum.
By being on the premises, you acknowledge and are in agreement that Port Discovery Children’s Museum may use recordings of your image, likeness, name and/or voice taken on the premises, in connection with commercial or non-commercial purposes though any and all media, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe in perpetuity, including but not limited to general marketing, publication in print media, television broadcast, advertisements and display via the internet and social media, without any compensation being paid to you.
If you would prefer that you and/or your child not be photographed/recorded, please notify the staff member taking the photo/recording at the time that the photo/video is being taken. Please direct questions or concerns to museum staff.
For Group Visits
Groups & Participant Permissions to be Photographed and/or Video-Taped:

Entrance to the premises of Port Discovery Children’s Museum constitutes your acknowledgement and agreement that the participants in your group may be photographed, filmed, videotaped or otherwise recorded by Museum staff or contractors in connection with the activities taking place on the premises. All recordings are the sole property of Port Discovery Children’s Museum.
By being on the premises, you acknowledge and are in agreement that Port Discovery Children’s Museum may use recordings of participants in your group’s image, likeness, name and/or voice taken on the premises, in connection with commercial or non-commercial purposes though any and all media, whether now known or hereafter developed, throughout the universe in perpetuity, including but not limited to general marketing, publication in print media, television broadcast, advertisements and display via the internet and social media, without any compensation being paid to any participant in the group.
It is the responsibility of the teachers and chaperones attending the Museum to notify Port Discovery staff of any student, teacher or chaperone who CANNOT be photographed or video-taped. If the Museum is not notified otherwise, it will be assumed that all students, teachers and chaperones are permitted to participate in recordings and have agreed to these terms.
