Port Discovery Children’s Museum is committed to ensuring every child has access to powerful, purposeful play – and as part of that commitment, we offer several programs that provide discounted access opportunities to guests and community members.
Access, Inclusion & Sensory-Friendly Programs
Sensory-Friendly Mornings and Access & Inclusion Afternoons
The Museum strives to be an inclusive and accessible space that celebrates neurodiversity and welcomes people of all needs and abilities. We currently offer monthly Sensory Friendly Mornings, open to all guests and members, and weekly Access & Inclusion Afternoons open to groups serving children and families with disabilities, on the autism spectrum, and/or sensory processing disorders. Pre-registration is required.

Port Discovery is dedicated to being a resource and advocate for children, families, caregivers, educators, and the vibrant community we are part of. We provide a variety of resources, including programs for parents and caregivers, and love taking Port Discovery on the road to communities through events, festivals, and other opportunities.
Petite Port Adventures
Playgroup at Port Discovery!
Petite Port Adventures is a play group designed to welcome children and their grown-ups for three one-hour weekly sessions at Port Discovery. Come play with us and other families while we learn through stories, activities, crafts and our interactive exhibits!
